Do female PLA soldiers really train in hot shorts and gas masks? These pictures suggest this is the case.
The pictures show a group of attractive female soldiers dressed in tight green t-shirts and black hot shorts with gas masks playing football with male opponents.
According to Shanghaiist.com, the pictures were originally posted on a Chinese military website.
Some have speculated that they were participating in an exercise to familiarize the soldiers with functioning in masks.
Others believe however that the pictures are likely part of an elaborate PR stunt or part of a movie production, judging by the girls' curvy figures and clear complexions.
